CKA Client Update

CK Architectural Hull and East Riding

26.03.20

As we are all aware COVID-19 is in the spotlight right now, causing chaos and disruption to the world. What we have to remember is that we are a resilient nation and stand united and defiant.

Our government has gone a long way to subsidize wages and look after businesses small and large throughout this period. That is why the the team at CK Architectural have set up at home and have identified new ways for our clients to interact with us without the need for home or site visits, still providing the same exceptional service.

Our new online design service has been developed with the customer in mind to make the whole process as easy and stress free as possible. We can provide property assessment, designs and great advice on planning, building regulations and construction without any obligation.

Planning applications in Hull, Howden, Goole, Beverley and across the East Riding of Yorkshire are still being accepted. Hull City Council and the East Riding Council have stated planning applications will be accepted, validate and determined as normal, as most planning staff have already got the ability to work from home on secure remote servers.

Building Control applications are still being accepted by Hull and East Ridging councils for plan check and some critical site inspection are being carried out. We do expect minor site’s to cease works but drawings for building regulations can still be done, submitted and checked ready for when we all come out to work again.

We will be keeping on top of all the existing applications and seeing them through planning and building control as normal. Anyone wanting some free initial advice should see our new online design service.

We urge everyone to be safe and sensible, stay indoors and be strict with your social distancing.
